Core Responsibilities

The Art Director, Digital Brand Experience leads the visual execution of brand and product storytelling across lululemon’s global digital ecosystem, spanning seasonal campaigns and always‑on commercial experiences (web, app, and digital retail). Reporting into senior creative leadership, this role translates broader creative vision into cohesive, high‑impact visual systems and executions. The Art Director sets visual standards, guides design teams, and ensures exceptional craft, consistency, and clarity across all digital touchpoints.

Lead visual direction and execution across digital campaigns and core commercial experiences, including campaign landings, PDPs, category pages, and digital retail screens.

Translate brand strategy and creative concepts into clear visual frameworks, design systems, and executional guidance.

Manage and mentor Digital Designers, providing direction, feedback, and quality oversight across multiple workstreams.

Oversee day‑to‑day creative execution, ensuring all outputs meet brand standards for typography, layout, imagery, hierarchy, and overall craft.

Partner closely with Creative Directors, Global Brand Creative teams, and external creative partners to bring campaign and seasonal concepts to life through digital‑first visual design.

Collaborate with UX, Ecommerce, and Product teams to ensure visual design supports usability and guest intent while maintaining strong brand expression.

Review work throughout the design process, guiding iterations and ensuring consistency across platforms, regions, and formats.

Drive the evolution and application of digital design systems, templates, and visual guidelines to enable scalable execution.

Present creative work and visual rationale to cross‑functional partners, building alignment and confidence in design decisions.

Stay connected to cultural, design, and digital trends to continuously elevate visual quality and relevance.

Qualifications 6–8 years of experience in digital design, art direction, or brand creative, in‑house or at a creative agency.

Proven experience leading visual execution across campaigns and digital commerce or content‑driven platforms.

Strong command of typography, layout systems, color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy.

Experience managing and mentoring designers, guiding work from concept through delivery.

Comfortable working under broader creative direction and translating high‑level vision into executable outcomes.

Strong collaboration and communication skills across creative, UX, product, and external partners.

Confident presenter with the ability to articulate visual decisions clearly and persuasively.

High bar for craft, consistency, and detail in fast‑paced, high‑visibility environments.

Compensation and Benefits Package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay‑for‑performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from

$103,500-$135,900 USD

annually. The base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
