Our
Spatial Designers
are responsible for translating a concept into a three dimensional space design, developing fabrication drawings and following through final production and installation. Reporting to the Creative Director, the experiential designer will collaborate closely with a team of designers, creative strategists, producers and build teams. With a background in Architecture, Interior, Scenic or Industrial Design they will be responsible for developing mood boards, space planning, floor plans, architectural visualization and 3D renderings, graphic design, technical specifications, rental selections and interaction with production partners. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Concepting: Participate in initial brainstorms and ideation Design Development: Creative development through Inspiration Boards, Furniture and Décor Selections, 2D Floor Plans, and 3D Renderings Fabrication: Create technical drawings to execute custom design elements such as, but not limited to, activations, staging, seeding kits, etc. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Experiential Designer will work closely with the project lead to ensure designs are within budget, and with the graphic design team in order to develop graphics that are accurately integrated into the overarching experience Create immersive virtual and physical experiences and brand activations for brand campaign initiatives Provide big idea thinking, strategy, design, typography, and storytelling across multiple channels Be a subject matter expert on current trends in Industrial Design and adjust ideation as necessary to keep ahead of the competition QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of creative agency or relevant brand experience Proficiency in SketchUp, Cinema 4D, Rino, etc. Knowledge of technical document layout and design discipline. Knowledge of building standards and interior design standards. Knowledge of visual arts design, retail and architectural design, and production techniques. Ability to communicate orally and in writing with vendors, internal clients, subject matter experts and evaluation specialists on the design of training programs. Skill using industry standard design and modeling tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk, AutoCAD etc.) Proficiency in graphic design and spatial design. A high level of organizational knowledge and strict attention to detail ENGAGEMENT DETAILS
This is a freelance, project based role with variable scope depending on client and studio needs. Compensation will be hourly or project based, commensurate with experience and scope of work. Remote work is acceptable, with availability during core collaboration hours required.
