Job Details We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and experienced Permanent Interior Designer to join our team in the construction industry. This is a unique opportunity to bring your design vision to life in a variety of settings, from residential homes to commercial buildings. You will be working alongside a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about creating beautiful, functional, and sustainable spaces. Responsibilities Collaborating with architects, contractors, and clients to determine the structure and layout of interior spaces. Developing design concepts that are aesthetic, functional, and in line with client’s requirements and budget. Preparing sketches, mood boards, and 3D models to illustrate design ideas and inspire stakeholders. Selecting and specifying materials, furnishings, products, and finishes. Creating detailed drawings and specifications for construction teams. Overseeing project implementation to ensure design vision is accurately realized. Conducting site visits and liaising with suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure project success. Keeping up‑to‑date with latest interior design trends, materials, and technologies. Ensuring all designs comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations. Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality standards. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Interior Designer, preferably within the construction industry. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar. A strong portfolio showcasing your creativity, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts to various stakeholders. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and ADA requirements. Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team. A keen eye for aesthetics and details, with the ability to visualize and create spaces that are both beautiful and functional. Professional certification in Interior Design is a plus.
