THE JOB

The Junior Marketer supports the Marketing Director, Senior Marketing Manager, and the broader Casino Division with day-to-day marketing initiatives. This role has a strong focus on professional development toward an Associate Marketing Manager position. Responsibilities include assisting with marketing strategy execution, event and concert promotion, client coordination, advertising placement tracking, and budget support to help meet client objectives and drive ticket sales across multiple North American markets.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Provide daily support to the Marketing Director and Senior Marketing Manager in executing and maintaining marketing plans, including strategy development, budgeting, paid media, and promotions across client properties
  • Conduct artist and market research; acquire, order, proof, and traffic advertising materials
  • Create and maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual show performance trackers and recaps
  • Participate in scheduled client interactions, including daily communications, weekly conference calls, and meetings
  • Coordinate with band management and publicists to secure approvals for press requests such as phoners, in studio appearances, and photo passes
  • Manage print, billboard, and digital banner advertising through client workflow management systems
  • Build and update event websites, including copywriting and image placement, using with client workflow systems
  • Collaborate with clients on copywriting for press releases, social media posts, street team campaigns and ticket giveaways
  • Professionally manage calls and messages for the Marketing Director and Senior Marketing Manager
  • Research and stay current on assigned markets, including relevant concerts, events, media outlets, blogs, radio stations, playlists, and demographic trends
  • Support Internal teamwork, meetings, recapping and strategy
  • Provide general administrative support, including organizing show files, budgets, ticket counts, calendar management, mail, invoices, etc.)
  • Perform other duties, projects, and event support as assigned
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
  • One or more years of experience in marketing, advertising, communications and digital advertising
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Passionate about the music industry, with a strong knowledge of the national music scene and artists
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong phone etiquette and active listening skills; share information appropriately, with tact and diplomacy
  • Experience with client management preferred
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer-service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Zoom
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Reliability and accountability - able to see tasks, ideas or projects through from start to finish while meeting deadlines and budgets
  • Strong time management skills
  • Outstanding planning and organization abilities; capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing effectively
  • Initiative and creativity to solve problems and improve processes
  • Ability to thrive in a high-demand, fast-paced environment
