About Our Client

Our client is a well-established, mid-sized general contractor with decades of success in the construction space. They work on majority federal, commercial, and education projects.

Job Description

• Lead the preparation, formatting, editing, and delivery of compelling bid proposals.
• Analyze and respond to government RFPs and RFQs.
• Track and review project opportunities using SAM.gov (formerly FBO).
• Write company narratives describing capabilities, past projects, and key differentiators.
• Maintain and update the company's capabilities statement and employee resumes.
• Develop and manage a centralized company content library/database.
• Collaborate with leadership during go/no-go bid meetings and present viable job opportunities.
• Coordinate with estimators on upcoming bids and submission requirements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimating Proposal Writer should have:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, English, Marketing, or a related field, preferred but not required
• 3+ years of experience in proposal writing, preferably in the construction or AEC industry.
• Strong command of grammar, structure, and persuasive writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, and AI platforms.
