divh2Member Service Representative II/h2pThe MSR II is responsible for delivering exceptional service to members by assisting with their financial needs, promoting credit union products and services, and ensuring member satisfaction. This role involves processing transactions, opening accounts, providing information on loan products and the ability to input applications and disburse loans. The MSRII also helps members manage their accounts, resolve any issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. As a Float MSR II, the ability to travel to all branches within our Branch Network on a daily basis as needed and work well in team environments./ppstrongKey Responsibilities/strong/pulliAdheres the FHCU Service Standards as established./liliConducts basic and complex transactions in a professional, courteous manner, including but not limited to: deposits, transfers, withdrawals, payments, wire transfer paperwork, stop payments, payroll set up, opening/closing accounts, and all other financial and non-financial transactions for members./liliEngages members in dialogue to obtain information regarding their financial needs and recommends the appropriate product or service based on those needs./liliMeets established individual and group sales goals by using various sales techniques./liliResponds to member inquiries regarding the operation of accounts, access to services, and assists members in making the most effective usage of service offerings./liliPerforms duties with limited supervision and resolves issues within the scope of authority assigned./liliExecutes loan applications and disbursements./liliMakes outbound calls to members regarding outstanding loan approvals, various credit union products and services./liliAttends offsite events to increase membership within our Select Employer Groups./liliParticipates in available credit union self-development education programs and required compliance courses through self-study and the credit unions training department./liliRepresents the credit union at various community events and assists the manager with business development duties when necessary./liliPerforms other duties or special projects as assigned./li/ulpstrongQualification Requirements/strong/ppstrongEducation:/strong/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED required/liliAssociates degree preferred/li/ulpstrongExperience:/strong/pulliMinimum of 6 months experience working as a MSR I, or related position in a financial institution/liliPrior sales experience, preferred/li/ulpstrongSkills
Competencies:/strong/pulliKnowledge of general banking regulations and credit union policies and procedures/liliProficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and using the Internet/liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills/liliExcellent customer service skills/liliProfessional appearance and demeanor/liliAbility to work with limited supervision and exercise judgement/liliBasic knowledge of sales techniques/liliAvailable to travel to other branches when required/liliMinimum of 2 years experience in financial services with a strong background in lending, sales, and member service./liliStrong knowledge of consumer lending, regulatory requirements and loan processing./liliProven ability to drive sales while maintaining exceptional member service standards and operational efficiencies./liliStrong problem solving and decision-making abilities to address member concerns and operational challenges effectively./liliKnowledge of credit union products, services and compliance regulations./liliDNA core system experience is a plus but not required/li/ulpstrongSalary:/strong The base pay for this position is $21.00/hr. A $.50 premium may be added if the applicant is able to demonstrate a proficiency in both English
