Job Title: Radio Frequency Test Technician Location: Glendale, AZ 85301 Duration: 11 Months+ (Possibility of extension) Shift Hours: Standard Shift Job Description: Roles & Responsibilities: Execute RF coaxial connector qualification testing per customer & MIL specifications. Interface with Design Engineering, Product Line Specialist and Applications Engineering to understand specific electrical, mechanical, and/or environmental requirements. Develop test plans in compliance with customer requirements. Collect, compile, and maintain data in an organized and retrievable manner. Produce formal test qualification test reports suitable for presentation to customers. R&D prototype test and product characterization. Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering teams in the development of new products by preparing test plans, methods, and procedures, preparing samples, conducting tests, and compiling data. Collaborate with Design to define Critical-to-Quality attributes and define quality plans. Complete work in accordance with Technology team objectives and the prioritized project portfolio. Coordinate Competitive Analysis activities and document relevant findings. Support Quality and Technology functions with root cause analysis of customer facing quality issues Support corrective action teams to address customer field & other MOB issues. Troubleshoot new and existing products to assist in the resolution of manufacturing and application issues. Conduct electrical, mechanical, and environmental tests to verify customer findings and support QIT group responses to customers. Collaborate with other functions to address Stage 4 product or process control issues creating a line-of-sight to achieve Product Quality Architecture targets. Project involvement: Collaborate with and support cross-functional teams in regard to out-sourcing and transfer activities. Provide support for the development of industry standards (e.g., SCTE, IEC, DSCC, IEEE).
