Overview Eaton’s FFD Fluid Filtration Division is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager - Hydraulics, North Region. This is a remote role from within the United States that will require 50% travel throughout the Northern United States and parts of Canada.

Eaton is a leader in liquid filtration which helps its customers make clean and pure products spanning a range of industries such as pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, industrial and municipal water, petrochemicals, marine, automotive, agriculture and construction equipment, or power generation.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $103000 - $151000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Manager for the Hydraulics North Region markets and sells Eaton’s hydraulic filtration products and services to obtain orders that are profitable to Eaton.

Achieve sales objectives of hydraulic products in the industrial, mobile, and lube power markets.

Grow and maintain relationships with Eaton employees, channel partners, consulting firms and end users.

Manage the assigned customer base, increase sales in the assigned geography, and provide application guidance and technical assistance to customers.

Collaborate with the northern United States and Canada region to execute a coordinated sales effort and keep management informed of market conditions.

Provide a 3-month forecast and document activity in the CRM for prospects and opportunities.

Organize training/promotional events for channel partners and support them with sales and promotional techniques and campaigns.

Maintain a high level of expertise on hydraulic filtration applications and trends; complete ongoing training in functional and technical skills.

Work with Marketing Development to identify and pursue new market or product opportunities.

Represent Eaton Filtration at trade association meetings to promote products as appropriate.

Build and sustain knowledge of the hydraulic filtration market and products; collaborate effectively with the global hydraulic team.

Qualifications Basic (Required) Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and Three (3)+ years of technical sales experience in the hydraulics industry OR HS Diploma/GED and Six (6)+ years of technical sales experience in the hydraulics industry

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company Sponsorship

This is a remote role, that requires the candidate to live within the designated territory (MN, IA, MO, IL, WI, MI, IN, OH)

Must have valid driver's license with no restrictions

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to travel up to 50% within the listed territory

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business from an accredited institution

Master’s or MBA degree from an accredited university

Experience working with hydraulic filtration products

Experience managing reps and distributors

Public speaking experience

SalesForce and/or CPQ experience
