
Associate Director, Data Science – Omnicom Media

Position Overview As a member of the data science team, you will work with client team strategists, media buyers, other data scientists, and client team leads to create solutions that shape the strategic direction of your client’s marketing plans through data‑driven insights. You will collaborate with other data scientists to build new utilities, improve methodologies, and explore a wide variety of datasets.
Key Responsibilities
Translate client requirements into solutions with input from the data science management team
Manage your own projects while taking minimal direction from your manager
Represent existing data science capabilities to internal and external personnel
Develop practical data science solutions using a broad array of rich person‑level data such as online behaviors, purchase events, television viewing, demographics, interests, financial data, and others
Evaluate and manage new data sources by performing exploratory data analysis
Manage machine learning utilities to define and project audiences for media deployment
Work with very large data in a variety of compute and database environments
Use the latest clean‑room data science technology
Required Skills and Qualifications
5–7 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, information management, social sciences or business/marketing related fields (advanced quantitative degree preferred)
Proven expertise in SQL and Python; R is optional
Demonstrable experience in AWS computing environments (much preferred)
Benefits This role offers a pay range of $90,000–$145,000 USD. Work Schedule Hybrid – three (3) days per week in the office, with the remaining two (2) days worked remotely. Specific in‑office days will be discussed during the interview process and may adjust over time.
