As part of their ambitious growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to manage and expand Tier 1 accounts in Germany. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen strategic relationships with key retail partners while identifying new opportunities for both hardware and software implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively manage and develop a portfolio of Tier 1 accounts, driving adoption of new innovations and increasing customer value. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within key accounts to expand both hardware and software deployments. Prepare and coordinate responses to tenders, developing compelling commercial proposals in collaboration with internal teams (product management, after-sales, installation, deployment) and, when required, the Global Account Manager. Achieve revenue targets and grow turnover across your commercial scope. Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers at the highest level. Represent the company at client events, trade shows, and industry forums. Support marketing initiatives by developing business cases, customer stories, and other communication materials. Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, tracking opportunities and managing your customer and prospect base. Provide insights on competitor activity and market trends to your manager and the marketing team. Qualifications & Experience
3–5 years’ experience in a key account or strategic account management role. Proven ability to understand client needs and develop long-term, trusted relationships. Experience working with large retail organisations is highly desirable. Personal Attributes
