Commercial HVAC Solutions Sales Representative for Modernizations or Controls, responsible for pursuing large opportunities that help customers modernize their equipment, pursuing opportunities for plan/spec and design/build or direct-to-owner projects. This role is a fast-paced, relationship-focused position designed for those who are results-oriented and adept at managing large mechanical customer projects. Job Responsibilities
Present at customer seminars to develop new and existing customer relationships and opportunities Demonstrate expertise in Commercial HVAC Promote Carrier value proposition linking customer objectives to Carrier solutions Manage complex multi-service solutions proposals Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities and opportunity pipeline Demonstrate well-developed sales skills including expert awareness, commercial acumen and integrity Seek out and access new Modernization opportunities with existing and new prospect customers Establish and build credibility Develop and sustain customer relationships Create compelling presentations and communicate effectively Detect the Customer’s buying stage and adjust selling accordingly Manage multiple activities simultaneously, organize others and workflow to meet objectives on time Anticipate future trends accurately Adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment to gain the order/booking in a timely manner Consistently achieve sales metrics and annual targets Create high quality timely estimates, bids & proposals including detailed cost-benefit analysis to support client’s business case for investment Required Qualifications
High school Diploma/GED Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years HVAC systems experience or 10+ years HVAC systems experience in lieu of education 2+ years of HVAC retrofit/modernization experience Must hold a valid driver’s license as daily area travel is required Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the industry, market and key market participants Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment Strong written, verbal and presentation skills to develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers Self-motivated with ability to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities Comfortable operating in a technical environment using Microsoft-based software Excellent sales/negotiation skills and goal-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills Ability to develop a pipeline of long lead time projects Strong knowledge of offerings and solutions within the industry Understands customers’ decision-making processes including buyers and influencers Strong financial and business acumen Understands when to introduce and coordinate other selling and support roles into the customer context Benefits

The annual salary for this position is $98,750–$138,250.
