Overview Business Development Specialist (Automotive), BDS. Must have automotive retail sales experience.

Company is seeking motivated hard working automotive sales professionals with a verifiable track record of producing results to join our high-growth sales team focused on signing and servicing automotive dealers. This is a hunter role. We are looking for self-starters who are not afraid of prospecting and lead generation. You will be responsible for growing and leading your market.

We have been in business for 20+ years, currently have 30+ sales representatives, and are actively recruiting to expand our markets. We have a nationwide presence.

Work with a talented team to drive results. Partner with leading dealer groups and dealers. Develop and grow your market. Close and train dealers, general managers, sales managers and finance managers. Utilize our proven best-practices and systems.

Responsibilities

Sign and service automotive dealers; grow and lead your market. This is a hunter role with prospecting and lead generation.

Work with a talented team to drive results.

Partner with leading dealer groups and dealers.

Develop and grow your market.

Close and train dealers, general managers, sales managers and finance managers.

Utilize our proven best-practices and systems.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of sales experience

Prior track record of successful sales and growth

Prior experience in technology or technology-enabled services

Broad and deep level of experience of the automotive retail industry

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Candidate will be expected to manage their calendar and accounts individually and will be expected to prove their training value to dealers with every in-store visit

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients via in-person meetings, email, and phone

Must be capable of seeking and acquiring new business, creating a sales plan for a territory, and then continuously executing and adapting that plan
