We are seeking an experienced
Traveling Construction Superintendent
to oversee on-site operations for healthcare construction projects across multiple locations. This role requires a hands‑on leader with deep knowledge of healthcare construction, safety, and coordination. Key Responsibilities
Lead all on‑site construction activities for healthcare projects Manage day‑to‑day field operations for ground‑up, addition, and renovation work Supervise subcontractors, field staff, and trade partners Enforce OSHA standards, site safety, and healthcare‑specific protocols (ICRA, life safety) Coordinate work in active/occupied healthcare environments with minimal disruption Maintain project schedules and ensure sequencing aligns with project plans Conduct daily site walks, inspections, and progress meetings Ensure quality control and adherence to drawings and specifications Partner closely with Project Managers, owners, and facility representatives Qualifications
7+ years of experience as a
Construction Superintendent Proven experience on
hospital, healthcare, or medical office projects Experience with
ground‑up construction, additions, and renovations Strong knowledge of ICRA, infection control, and interim life safety measures Comfortable working in active or occupied facilities Ability and willingness to travel as projects require OSHA 30 certification preferred Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
