Make Your Mark:

We are seeking a Senior Commissions Analyst to join our global commissions team. This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of the global commissions process and will report to the Sr. Manager of Variable Compensation. The role requires a strong individual who adds value to the team, produces high quality work, reconciles large amounts of data, and audits commission calculations while delivering accurate and timely commission payments. This role requires interaction with various other departments and teams (Variable Compensation; Accounting, Financial Systems, Enterprise Applications and Sales Operations) to execute annual commission plan enhancements and initiatives required by the business. The individual in this role must have experience with quote-to-cash, accounting, commissions, strong project management, and the ability to successfully meet deliverables and deadlines on time.

You'll Get To

Manage all aspects related to monthly and quarterly commission calculations and payments using the SAP Sales Cloud commission system for all our global sales employees

Analyze and reconcile large amounts of data and resolve discrepancies while adhering to tight close schedule and payroll deadlines

Analyze existing business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement to support and scale with business

Develop and maintain documentation of new and existing business processes and related systems

Work with various teams to successfully implement annual compensations plan changes in SAP Sales Cloud commission system

Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to drive process improvement and support annual compensation plan changes

Serve as point of contact for commission-related inquiries from sales employees and other departments

Support the department by assisting with day-to-day activities including close process, special department projects, ad hoc/metric reports, and be a reliable backup for commissions and accountant team members

What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required (or equivalent work experience)

3-5 years of experience using an ICM system (preferably SAP Sales Cloud system) and Salesforce

Strong understanding of the end-to-end commission process which includes all aspects of each component of the compensation plans as well as accounting treatment related to commissions

Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, adapt seamlessly, be customer-centric, and have the interpersonal skills necessary to manage relationships effectively

Strong organization/project management skills

Intermediate knowledge of Excel (e.g., look-ups, pivot tables)

Ability to embrace ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment

We’re Even More Excited If You Have Knowledge of Crystal reporting, Tableau report creation, and Oracle SQL knowledge

Salary Range:

USD $112,000.00/Yr. - USD $140,000.00/Yr.

Pay Transparency Statement:

Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
