Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes. Responsibilities
Clinical expertise & selling of technology as part of the Johnson & Johnson MedTech Value Proposition, to include the VELYS Robotic Assisted Solution and VELYS Hip Navigation Provide product demonstrations, evaluations, and assist with first cases for both VELYS Robotic Assisted Solution and VELYS Hip Navigation Assist the entire digital surgery offering within the territory and collaborate with the digital surgery sales managers reporting to this role to carry out the business plans with respect to robotics, navigation and surgical automation Work closely with the geographically aligned joint recon sales team to carry out overall business goals Work with the clinical team on proper launch cadence for robotics utilizing the LEEP launch excellence process Leadership
Ability to partner with local sales teams Ability to build credibility with surgeons and KOLs Ability to successfully work within a matrix organizational environment, demonstrate an enterprise mindset, and influence/deliver results without direct authority Ability to successfully contribute to cross functional projects and achieve goals Must adhere to the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and compliance, and actively support our compliance program-related initiatives, programs, trainings, and activities Must comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to Johnson & Johnson MedTech business activities and Policies and Procedures of the Health Care Compliance Program and Johnson and Johnson Business Code of Conduct Qualifications
BA/BS Minimum of 3 years of medical device experience, in sales or clinical applications Experience with clinically selling medical technology is preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedics, total joints preferred The ability to travel 60% Strong presentation skills Primary Location: Indianapolis, IN, Cleveland, OH, Columbus OH, Pittsburg, PA, or Chicago, IL The anticipated base pay range for this position is $91,000 to $147,200. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
