Digital Evidence Unit Assistant
Location: US:NH:CONCORD Occupation Category: 43-0000 Office and Administrative Support Occupations Employment Type: PART-TIME Salary: $19.96/hour- $26.41/hour The State of New Hampshire, Department of Safety, Division of State Police, Justice Information Bureau, Digital Evidence Unit, has a part-time vacancy for Digital Evidence Unit Assistant (Program Assistant II) with soc title 43-4190 MISC RECORDS CLERKS-3. This is a part time position, which cannot exceed 29.5 hours in a work week and does not offer health insurance benefits. Summary
To perform paraprofessional duties to assist the Digital Evidence Unit (DEU) with reviewing, redacting and compiling digital media captured by State Police video and audio equipment in compliance with the Division policies and procedures. Your Experience Counts
Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education. Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience: Equivalent combination of 3 years of education and experience after completion of high school. Education and experience must be in the fields of mathematics, data processing, or business administration or related field. Other Requirements: Must pass a fingerprint based criminal background check and motor vehicle record check in order to ensure suitability for exposure to confidential information. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Windows OS and video editing Responsibilities
Reviews audio and video media captured by State Police sworn personnel via body-worn and cruiser cameras and performs redactions required for editing and compilation used as evidence in criminal cases. Accurately labels cases in compliance with established protocols to ensure future searches yield comprehensive results.
