Inside Sales Representative
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to learn about the steel and fabrication industry while contributing to a collaborative and customer-focused environment. Function in the Job
Sedentary Work- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Key Responsibilities
Manage customer accounts to ensure timely delivery, quality performance, and customer retention Handle inbound and outbound communications via phone and email Collaborate with the estimating team to finalize quotes and lead times Enter and manage sales orders, including cost analysis Support lead generation and actively contribute to sales growth Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management Work closely with Territory Managers to enhance team selling efforts Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; bachelors degree preferred Strong verbal, written, and digital communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Willingness to learn industry products, processes, and terminology Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Skills and Competencies
Active listening and customer service orientation Time management and organizational skills Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Basic mathematical skills for data analysis and order processing Work Environment
