Client Account Specialist
Staffmark is hiring a Client Account Specialist to support a respected, long-standing organization in Perry, NY. This role is well-suited for professionals with collections experience who bring a calm, customer-focused approach to resolving account matters while working within clear guidelines and procedures. Hours & Pay Pay Rate:
$17.20 per hour Schedule Training Schedule: MondayThursday: 8:00 AM5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM4:30 PM Post-Training Flexible Schedule: MondayThursday: 8:00 AM9:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM7:00 PM Employees select an 8-hour shift within these windows and are required to work one evening per week until 9:00 PM. What You'll Do Contact customers regarding past-due accounts and explain available resolution options Handle inbound and outbound calls related to account status and payments Perform skip tracing to locate updated contact and employment information Negotiate payment arrangements or escalate complex cases when appropriate Accurately document all account activity while following required scripts Verify and update information for special account situations such as bankruptcy or disability Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and internal regulations Complete additional duties as assigned based on business needs What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required At least 1 year of collections experience Strong verbal communication, reading, and typing skills Comfort using computer systems and standard office software High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to follow procedures and work independently Benefits This position offers access to a competitive benefits package that supports your professional and personal well-being.
