Oversees daily operations of the Care Management department, ensuring effective care coordination and compliance with guidelines. Facilitates communication between patients, visitors, and healthcare staff, providing accurate information and assistance. Maintains a welcoming environment in the Atrium entrance and waiting areas, greeting visitors proactively. Assists visitors, patients, and staff upon entering or leaving the building, ensuring a positive experience. Communicates concerns to the Supervisor and/or Director, addressing issues promptly. Provides cross-coverage for other Guest Liaisons/Patient Ambassadors as needed. Demonstrates compassion and respect to patients undergoing stressful procedures, recognizing and addressing their needs. Maintains strict confidentiality of patient and physician information. Handles conflict and disagreement professionally, supporting team members and management. Manages physical demands such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing or sitting. Operates the hospital medical record computer system to access patient information. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Access required. Requires self-motivation, persistence, and time management. Maintains discretion and confidentiality in all contacts. Mature judgment is required in dealing with new and unexpected situations as they arise. Must demonstrate appropriate communication skills when dealing with all contacts. Occasionally handles delicate, sensitive, or confidential information. Must be able to prioritize work assignments.
