Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial ground-up projects in the San Antonio area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong field experience managing multi-story, steel and concrete structures from start to finish. The Superintendent will be responsible for day-to-day jobsite operations, safety, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and quality control to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Manage all on-site construction activities for ground-up commercial projects Supervise subcontractors, field staff, and trade partners Coordinate schedules, inspections, and deliveries to maintain project timelines Enforce site safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA standards Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work Conduct daily site walks and progress meetings Maintain quality control and resolve field issues as they arise Work closely with Project Managers and ownership to ensure project success Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial ground-up projects Proven experience with multi-story buildings, elevators, and steel/concrete structures Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and means & methods Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and fast-paced schedules Excellent leadership and communication skills OSHA certification preferred
