We are seeking a motivated Construction Superintendent to join our Special Projects Division in St. Louis. This role will focus on managing smaller-scale interior renovation projects, with a strong emphasis on healthcare and occupied environments. Projects typically range up to $10M and require careful coordination, scheduling, and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on superintendent who thrives in fast-paced renovation work, understands healthcare protocols, and can manage multiple scopes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day field operations for interior renovation projects
Manage subcontractors, vendors, and on-site labor
Coordinate work in active or occupied healthcare environments
Enforce safety standards, OSHA compliance, and healthcare protocols (ICRA, life safety)
Maintain short-interval schedules and drive fast-track project completion
Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work for constructability
Conduct daily site walks, coordination meetings, and inspections
Ensure quality control and timely resolution of field issues
Partner closely with Project Managers to meet budget and schedule goals
Qualifications
5–6 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
Proven experience on interior renovation projects, preferably healthcare
Experience managing projects up to $10M
Strong knowledge of renovation sequencing and coordination
Familiarity with ICRA, infection control, and interim life safety measures preferred
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and tight schedules
OSHA 30 certification preferred
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
