Since 1996, we have been creating unique airport advertising environments that engage each passenger. We manage first-class display programs in various airports to capture travelers' attention while complementing terminal aesthetics. Departure Media's experienced team develops strategic plans to expose organizations to decision-makers through backlit billboards, three-dimensional displays, kiosks, sponsorships, and floor exhibits. Our airport marketing campaigns build brand awareness locally, regionally, and nationally, making it the most influential medium for brand building. Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Proposal Specialist
to lead and execute high-impact responses to airport and public-sector RFPs, RFQs, and SOQs. The Senior Proposal Specialist will be responsible for managing the entire proposal process, writing and editing proposals, responding to RFPs, and ensuring compliance with client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with various departments, developing proposal strategies, managing timelines, and delivering high-quality proposals. The role also involves effective communication with clients and cross-functional team members to ensure a smooth proposal process from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to translate complex requirements into clear, compelling narratives and visually polished proposal documents that stand out in competitive evaluations. Job Responsibilities
Proposal management Lead writing for airport and aviation-related RFPs, RFQs, and SOQs Interpret solicitation requirements, scoring criteria, and compliance matrices Develop persuasive proposal narratives, executive summaries, and case studies Coordinate inputs from internal teams and subject-matter experts Manage multiple deadlines with precision and calm under pressure Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all proposal sections Create and maintain a centralized repository of proposal content, templates, and reference materials. Ensure regular proposal content review and updates. Support continuous improvement of proposal processes. Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration abilities Strategic mindset with a customer-focused approach Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience producing professional RFP / RFQ responses Proven experience with airport, aviation, public-sector, or infrastructure proposals Exceptional attention to detail Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop, a plus To apply, please submit your resume and 2–3 relevant proposal samples.
