Responsibilities
Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using SolidWorks (minimum 2 years of experience required)
Develop accurate, manufacturing-ready drawings and documentation
Revise and enhance existing designs based on engineering change requests (ECRs)
Perform basic engineering calculations and tolerance stack-ups to ensure design integrity
Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to support product development
Assist in prototype builds, testing, and design validation activities
Ensure all designs meet applicable industry standards and internal company guidelines
Deliver high-quality design outputs—including concepts, prototypes, and final products—on time and aligned with project goals
Manage design updates and revisions through the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) system
Preferred Skills/Education
Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical design/engineering or related field
Strong foundation in mechanical design principles and best practices
Proficiency in SolidWorks with 2+ years of hands‑on experience
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
