Position We are seeking a motivated

Commercial Insurance Account Manager

to join our

Business Insurance Sales team . This role is critical to company growth and is ideal for a

driven sales professional

who excels at building relationships, closing deals, and retaining clients.

The Account Manager is responsible for

new business development and ongoing client service , selling

Property & Casualty insurance products

including General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Business Owner Policies (BOP), and other commercial insurance solutions.

This position offers a

strong base salary plus uncapped performance-based bonuses , creating significant earning potential for high performers.

Key Responsibilities Sales & New Business Development

Proactively solicit and sell commercial insurance policies

Confidently present, negotiate, and close Property & Casualty coverage

Respond to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and prospective client inquiries

Educate prospects on coverage options and risk management solutions

Client Management & Retention

Service and retain an existing book of business

Manage policy renewals and communicate policy changes clearly

Maintain strong, long-term client relationships through proactive follow-up

Collaborate with internal teams to cross-sell additional insurance solutions

Operations & Documentation

Prepare and process policy documents accurately and timely

Document client interactions and maintain detailed records

Track tasks and follow through to ensure successful policy implementation

Handle confidential client information with discretion and professionalism

Qualifications

High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Active Texas Property & Casualty License or ability to obtain within 60 days

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Comfortable with consultative sales and phone-based conversations

Highly organized with strong time-management and multitasking abilities

Coachable, driven, and committed to continuous improvement

Professional, ethical, and client-focused mindset

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $50,000 – $69,000 (commensurate with experience)

Uncapped Bonuses tied to new sales, renewals, and performance
