Role Overview The Junior Corporate Paralegal – Data & Knowledge Operations supports the firm’s Corporate and Regulatory practices by managing, validating, and organizing transactional data across internal systems. This role sits within the firm’s legal operations and knowledge function and partners closely with Information Governance and Records teams to ensure deal-related information is complete, consistent, and maintained according to firm standards.
This is a
fully remote role , with collaboration across offices nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Support corporate transactions by maintaining accurate deal, client, and matter data across firm systems
Track and manage data related to mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, capital markets activity, and regulatory filings
Review and maintain metadata, tagging, and organizational structures to support knowledge capture and reuse
Ensure consistency and accuracy of corporate and regulatory information in document management and knowledge platforms
Identify and resolve data quality issues through review, validation, and ongoing monitoring
Conduct periodic audits to ensure transactional data aligns with firm standards and governance protocols
Partner with attorneys and practice teams to confirm key deal data points and filing details
Assist with submission and tracking of transactions and related materials in internal databases
Support system updates, enhancements, and migrations by preparing clean, structured data
Organize information for due diligence, regulatory responses, and internal reporting
Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to support deal tracking, pitches, and precedent accessibility
Assist with information governance initiatives related to data retention, classification, and audit trails
Skills & Experience
Experience as a
corporate paralegal , junior paralegal, or legal operations professional
Hands-on exposure to
corporate filings, transactions, and regulatory documentation
Interest in legal technology, data management, and process improvement
Comfort working in multiple systems and databases simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies or errors
Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and business teams
Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
Preferred Background
Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business, Information Science, or related field
3–5 years of experience in corporate paralegal work, legal operations, or knowledge-focused roles Why This Role
