Role Freight Logistics Sales Representative – Logistics Worldwide

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Salary Range: $32,500 to $37,500 annual salary plus commission; up to 12% commission on gross profit. Expected first-year income estimated at $55,000 plus.

About the role As an Account Representative for Logistics Worldwide, you will be responsible for supporting and working with an established Sales Team to drive revenue. You will start your career in an accelerated training program to learn the industry and Logistics Worldwide culture. Once training is complete, you will become the dedicated Account Representative focused on identifying and growing new and existing business by presenting Logistics Worldwide customers with our newest transportation services.

Key Responsibilities

Close new and existing customers to move their freight

Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer shipments

Manage daily shipment activities, resolving issues to ensure pickup and delivery is on time

Work with the sales team to provide and negotiate competitive pricing and rates

Input, update, and manage shipment information in our state-of-the-art systems

Collaborate with the support team to guarantee each shipment is serviced properly

Assist with billing and accounting responsibilities as needed

Become a subject matter expert for Logistics Worldwide new transportation service

A Day in the Life of a Freight Logistics Executive

Freight Account Management: Fully in-office role focused on building relationships and closing deals. You are involved in sales, customer service and management of your customers\' freight needs. You provide first in class customer service, as well as developing long-term relationships with customers.

High Volume Interactions: You manage the movement of your clients\' goods, ensuring that they are picked up, transported safely and delivered on time according to the clients\' expectations. You function as the liaison between clients, carriers, shippers and receivers.

Rate Negotiations: Secure opportunities through effective transactional and contract rate discussions.

Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams to deliver top-notch freight solutions.

Industry Insight: Stay updated on market trends to boost your sales strategy.

Shipment Tracking: You collaborate with carrier partners and shippers, overseeing the full lifecycle of every shipment in your given book of business.

What you need

College degree preferred

Availability to work full-time, 100% in-office

The determination to work harder than anyone you know

Excellent communication skills

Strong problem-solving skills, while being forthright about conflict

Ability to work with the latest technologies
