We are seeking an experienced
Tax Credit Property Manager
to oversee the daily operations of a LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) community. The ideal candidate is compliance-driven, organized, and resident-focused, with a strong understanding of affordable housing regulations and property performance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of a Tax Credit / Affordable Housing community
Ensure full compliance with
LIHTC, HUD, and Fair Housing
regulations
Manage resident certifications, recertifications, and file audits
Prepare for and successfully pass state and investor audits
Supervise, train, and motivate onsite staff
Monitor budgets, rent collections, delinquency, and financial reports
Maintain high occupancy and resident satisfaction
Qualifications
2+ years of experience managing a Tax Credit (LIHTC) property
Strong knowledge of affordable housing compliance and regulations
Experience with Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software preferred; Excel
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
