to help support our members and strengthen our connection with the community.
Schedule Full-time | Monday–Friday; Saturday rotation as scheduled
Work Location Status Fully on-site at the West Belleville Branch in Belleville, IL.
About the Role Member Service Representatives are one of the primary points of contact for SCU members. They are the first, and often only face our members see. Member Service Representatives must engage with SCU members and process their transactions efficiently and accurately. They are responsible for educating members about SCU products and services as well as providing an exceptional member experience.

What You’ll Do
Operate online teller terminal and accurately record amounts received and prepare reports of transactions.
Perform required OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) screens as outlined in the Non-Member Verafin Processing policy and report any positive matches to the BSA Group. Comply with BSA requirements of completing CTR and SAR.
Foster and maintain relationships with members, providing prompt, professional, helpful, knowledgeable and courteous member service. Investigate member concerns, research and recommend a resolution to branch management. Ensure we are meeting expectations with member service satisfaction results.
Educate members on SCU products and services including referring members to FSR’s, mortgage, business lending/services and investments.
Daily open and close teller terminal, account for cash assigned, received, disbursed. Accurately balance to teller terminal close report and remit daily work to Teller Supervisor for disposition.
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent
Customer service experience
Personal computer experience to include Microsoft Office products
