
The Axel Group is seeking a Sales Manager for our client, a National residential home builder.
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing all sales operations within an assigned geographic area. This role oversees the recruitment, training, development, and performance of the sales team while driving sales results, supporting marketing initiatives, and ensuring a professional, ethical, and customer-focused sales environment. The Sales Manager plays a key role in meeting or exceeding sales goals and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise all sales staff in a specific geographic area, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Recruit and hire future Sales Representatives
Train/motivate the sales force
Oversee grand openings and new phases
Complete competitive analysis on product, features, and neighborhoods/amenities
Meet or beat set sales goals
Perform realtor outreach (realtor breakfasts, lunches, office presentations)
Work with the Marketing Department and division management on advertising
Work with Sales Representatives on all marketing promotions
Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
Qualifications: Required:
Proven experience in sales with a production home builder
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
Ability to meet sales targets in a fast-paced, competitive environment
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
Experience managing multiple communities or sales teams
Strong realtor network and local market knowledge
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
