Develop and execute a market growth strategy for the environmental sector in Houston and the Gulf Coast region. Win environmental work with Houston-based clients and maintain existing executive-level contacts and relationships with energy and industrial clients in the region. Lead, coach, and motivate an account team; manage commercial and legal negotiations; and close deals; coordinate internal resources to deliver best-in-class solutions. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in the environmental sciences or equivalent related work experience in lieu of a degree. 15 years of experience in the environmental market sector. Proven track record of winning environmental work with Houston-based clients. Existing executive-level contacts and strong relationships with energy and industrial clients in the region. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a market growth strategy, develop leads, vet opportunities, respond to RFPs, and coach interview teams. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead an account team, coach/mentor and motivate the team, reach within Jacobs to offer best-in-class solutions, manage commercial and legal negotiations, and close deals. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Technical background/experience in delivering or managing large environmental projects or programs is a positive and adds credibility in consulting and remediation industry service offerings and delivery. Some roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock. The base salary range for this position is $172,000.00 to $250,000.00.
