Role
Become a Key Player as a Content Visual Designer
As a Content Visual Designer, you will define and elevate the visual identity for the client’s education experiences, shaping brand personality and ensuring design quality across product, learning, and marketing surfaces. You will partner with content strategists, product designers, PMM, community teams, and learning designers to translate strategy into cohesive, scalable visual systems. Work model: Onsite in San Francisco ( Hybrid schedule). This is a contract that will start 2/2026 and end 11/30/2026.
Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team
- Develop a unified visual identity system that elevates the Education brand and supports clear storytelling for students and educators.
- Translate strategy into visual concepts, layouts, and design patterns across product, web, mobile, templates, learning content, and marketing assets.
- Create visual systems, style guides, libraries, and reusable components that scale across global regions and diverse education contexts.
- Support product and campaign launches with key art, thumbnails, icons, motion, and in-product visuals.
- Ensure assets reflect high-quality craft, alignment to brand goals, and accessibility for K–12 and higher education audiences.
- Partner across cross-functional teams to maintain consistency and clarity across all surfaces.
Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- Strong visual design skills across typography, layout, composition, color, and imagery.
- Experience designing for multi-surface environments across product and marketing.
- Ability to translate brand strategy into a cohesive visual system.
- Familiarity with creative tools, education audiences, and accessible design principles.
- Collaborative mindset with willingness to iterate and co-create across teams.
- A portfolio demonstrating excellence in brand systems, visual identity, and cross-surface design execution.
Pay
$67.61 - $84.51/hour
