- Oversee daily on-site construction activities for public sector projects from mobilization through closeout.
- Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, and agency representatives to maintain schedule and compliance.
- Enforce job site safety programs in accordance with OSHA and public authority standards.
- Manage site logistics, manpower, material deliveries, and sequencing of work.
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure construction aligns with contract requirements.
- Maintain daily reports, schedules, and site documentation.
- Support inspections, punch lists, and final turnover to public owners.
- 7-12+ years of experience as a Superintendent, preferably on public works projects (schools, municipal buildings, infrastructure, or similar).
- Strong understanding of public sector procedures, inspections, and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain productivity on active job sites.
- Safety-focused leader with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable acting as the on-site point of contact with inspectors, agencies, and project stakeholders.
- OSHA certification and familiarity with union environments are preferred.
