We’re seeking a
Level 2 Cable Technician
to join our team. This position involves installing and maintaining structured cabling systems for commercial projects. We’re looking for someone dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn. Prior telecom experience is a plus, but the main focus is on strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
Responsibilities
Install, route, and terminate low‑voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber).
Perform cable pulls, labeling, and testing according to industry standards.
Assist with troubleshooting and ensure quality installations.
Maintain safety and cleanliness on job sites.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
Experience with structured cabling, low‑voltage systems, and cable installation.
Ability to work in physically demanding conditions (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods).
Dependable with a strong attendance record.
Previous experience in construction or cable pulling preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Fiber experience.
Familiarity with cable testing tools and installation best practices.
Experience Level Intermediate – Training provided for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
Job Type & Location Contract position based out of Charleston, SC. This is a fully onsite role.
Pay and Benefits Pay range: $20.00 – $20.00/hr. Benefits for this temporary role may include:
