Low Voltage Technician – Junior to Mid-Level (1–2+ Years Experience)
We’re hiring Low Voltage Technicians to join a growing telecommunications and network infrastructure company in the local area. Whether you’re just getting started in the trades or already have experience in cabling or low-voltage systems, this is a great opportunity to build a long-term career with hands-on training and room for advancement.
What You’ll Do In this role, you’ll work on a variety of commercial job sites helping install technology that keeps buildings connected and secure. Day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Installing and routing network cabling (CAT5/6), fiber optic cable, coax, AV, and security wiring
Terminating and testing copper and fiber connections
Installing equipment such as network switches, cameras, access control devices, wireless systems, and cable racks
Reading and following basic prints, drawings, or cable layouts
Working safely on ladders, lifts, and active construction sites
Assisting with troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues
Keeping materials organized and maintaining a clean work area
Communicating progress with the project team and following direction from Leads/Foremen
What We’re Looking For We value dependable people with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. We’re hiring at junior-mid levels:
Experienced Technicians (1–2+ years):
Experience pulling, terminating, and testing low-voltage cabling
Familiar with reading site layouts and structured cabling standards
Able to work independently and support small project tasks
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on construction sites
Must pass background check and drug screen
OSHA 10 is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with low voltage, structured cabling, telecom, construction, electrical, or security systems is a plus
