The Auto Body Technician is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by meticulously assessing and repairing vehicle bodies to restore vehicles to pre‑accident condition. The technician disassembles, repairs, and reassembles vehicles, using a variety of tools and techniques, while meeting company performance KPIs and acting as a brand ambassador. Key Responsibilities
Ensure consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan. Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers. Repair dents and minor damage using filler resins and other methods. Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage. Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts, including glass and windshields. Reinstall interior parts as necessary. Weld and attach parts, then repaint vehicles with factory‑specified paint or an agreed‑upon equivalent. Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and verify quality through post‑repair inspection. Perform other related duties as assigned. Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3‑year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer. Required Skills and Abilities
Read job orders and work with minimal supervision. Collaborate with other repairers in an auto body shop setting. Understand methods and procedures for vehicle body repair. Use trade tools effectively. Physical Requirements
Work safely in a noisy area with many odors. Lift up to 30 pounds at times. Inspect vehicle damage in various weather conditions. Bend, stretch, kneel, and squat as needed. Compensation
$22 - $29 / Hour Flat Rate, performance‑based structure tied to turned hours. Minimum wage guarantees apply if total compensation in a pay period is below minimum wage. Benefits
