Senior Executive Communications Leader, Partner Strategy & Engagement — Job ID: 3144313 | Amazon Web Services, Inc. This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their technology domains, providing business and technical expertise to help customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide customers with the expertise and scale to build innovative solutions for complex challenges. The Senior Executive Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic messaging to communicate the organization’s vision and value proposition to internal and external audiences globally. In this role you will design messaging strategies that consider proactive and reactive tactics based on listening and customer and employee data and insights. You will build a multi-year messaging strategy for the ASP leadership, design the platform to reach audiences, develop compelling, data-rich content, and work with lighthouse partners and customers to build high-impact case studies for public events. You will balance proactive guidance with flawless delivery to become a trusted partner to the leadership team. The candidate must have a strong track record of delivering results by working with partners and customers to build messaging and content strategies, producing high-quality, clear content, earning and maintaining trust across stakeholders, and insisting on the highest standards for quality and attention to detail while managing multiple projects. The candidate should be curious about new programs and initiatives impacting customers, partners, and employees and be able to ask the right questions. Key job responsibilities include developing and implementing visible strategic messaging programs for technical audiences and line of business owners, creating business and technical narratives to articulate differentiation and value proposition, and coordinating end-to-end external engagements including industry, customer, partner and thought leadership events. You will build lighthouse case studies with partners that highlight our ability to deliver deep expertise and drive revenue growth in line with strategic priorities. You will align with AWS PR, Marketing, and Subject Matter Expert teams to ensure messaging consistency. You will manage a team of executive communications managers who prepare executives for internal and external engagements, create content for global meetings, manage internal communications, script video content, and develop social media strategy and execution. You will measure and share results of speaking engagements to evaluate impact and conduct research to identify opportunities for enhancing executive communications. 12+ years of professional communications, public relations, or public affairs experience Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/services Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising or business Experience working with other enterprises on developing joint messaging and thought leadership Experience developing technical content for diverse, large-scale audiences Preferred Qualifications
