Experience Required
Must be motivated to thrive in the golf industry.
Class A PGA Professional in good standing preferred.
PGA Level 2 or higher PGA Apprentice in good standing preferred.
Must be able to work on a seasonal basis.
Essential Responsibilities
Assist the Head Golf Professional on the daily management of golf operations.
Tournament operations and weekly events including planning, pre-tournament, post-tournament billing, promotion, course set-up, preparation, score, prize distribution, and follow-up.
Assist with management of outside service staff to ensure the highest of quality of customer service is achieved.
Assist in managing golf car operations, practice facility, and club storage service.
Assist in the inventory control of hard goods, soft goods, and special orders including order procedures, display, and sales.
Monitors all members' scores, reports handicapping to USGA and bills members.
Conduct oneself in a professional manner and always maintain a professional image.
Assist with the administration of applicable staff via record keeping, work schedules, etc. in accordance with facility human resource policies.
Opening and closing duties.
Assist with golfer check-in and fee collection.
Assist with controlling and managing play.
Assist in coordinating golf activities with other departments.
