. What to Expect in a Bi-lingual Account Manager Role
As a key member of our
Operations Department
, you’ll work closely with your
Team Leader or Production Manager
to manage a portfolio of accounts and help consumers resolve their outstanding debts — all while using your Spanish and English language skills to create a more inclusive, effective experience. As a Bi-lingual Account Manager, You’ll:
Manage a portfolio of accounts using our
Collection Resource System (CRS) Contact Spanish- and English-speaking consumers via phone and email to discuss past-due accounts Clearly explain repayment options and help consumers find manageable, realistic solutions Build rapport and trust while maintaining professionalism and empathy Document all conversations accurately and in compliance with
FDCPA
and applicable state laws Use
skip tracing tools
to locate and update missing consumer contact information Track your daily activity and progress using reporting tools Maintain thorough and regular coverage across your assigned accounts Whether you’re new to the workforce or transitioning careers, FRS provides
comprehensive paid training
to set you up for success. You’ll learn how to: Understand and apply debt collection laws (FDCPA and state regulations) Use our account management software:

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: Fluent in both Spanish and English
(verbal and written) High school diploma or GED required Prior experience in collections, customer service, or a call center environment is helpful — but
not required Comfortable communicating over the phone and handling a high volume of calls Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly Strong listening, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain professionalism, empathy, and compliance under pressure Must be able to pass the
FDCPA exam
and obtain a collector license (training provided) Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends Are fluent in
Spanish and English
(verbal and written) Communicate clearly and confidently across cultural and language differences Enjoy working with people and helping them resolve financial challenges Are goal-driven, organized, and coachable Want to work in a supportive team environment where your skills are valued Compensation, Bonuses, and Benefits Premium wage
