Strategic Sourcing Manager Flow Control Group (FCG) is a leading provider of fluid handling, process, and industrial automation solutions across North America. Summary The Strategic Sourcing Manager (SSM) supports the Strategic Account Manager’s (SAM) cross‑selling activities within a defined market segment or customer base. The SSM works closely with the SAM to develop strategic accounts, expedite product proposals, and drive organic growth initiatives. The role reports to the EVP, Commercial Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support: Provide day‑to‑day support to the assigned SAM by assisting with sales proposals, presentations, and other sales‑related documents.

RFQ Response: Facilitate proposal responsiveness required by customers to accelerate revenue growth.

PO Entry: Enter orders in the FCG ERP system (P21) to generate internal POs to suppliers and internal FCG brands ensuring expedient order delivery.

CRM Management: Keep CRM tools up‑to‑date with accurate data regarding prospects, opportunities, and account activity.

Customer Communication: Serve as a liaison for customer inquiries, providing timely support and escalating issues to the SAM when needed.

Administrative Tasks: Process orders, contracts, invoices, and all paperwork accurately and in line with company procedures for timely payment.

Minimum Qualifications

6+ years’ experience in sales support, inside sales, or customer service.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives.

Ability to work in a non‑process oriented culture to create structure and processes that expedite order activity and profitable revenue.

Adapt to a high‑paced environment with minimal structure, completing tasks efficiently and accurately.

Collaboration with team members, departments, and stakeholders essential for project success.

Manage multiple opportunities, time, and resources effectively to meet deadlines.

Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation.

Proactive, self‑motivated, and results‑driven.

Excited to work on complex problems and projects in a fast‑paced, decentralized environment.
