We are looking to add a
Proposals Coordinator
to the team in Houston. The Proposals Coordinator will support the Geoservices Commercial team in the preparation and submission of all tenders as per the company Integrated Management System (IMS) using accepted technical methodologies and commercial models.
Duties
Assist the team in logging all invitations to tender (ITT) and requests for quotation (RFQ) to Segment's database on receipt
As requested, the creation and management of proposal folders, and population of folders with ITT/RFQ documents and communications
Timely acknowledgement of ITTs/RFQs received, and transmission of other necessary responses to clients
Initial review ITTs/RFQs received, and clarification of bid requirements with clients for submission to the leading point of contact within the team
Request, obtain and review subcontractors' quotations when required for final approval by point of contact within the team
Assisting in the compilation of bid documents, ensuring all elements meet client's requirements or are suitably qualified, writing text when necessary to present Segment's proposal
Contribute to technical and commercial bid strategy meetings, recommending preferable solutions where appropriate
Assist as required in the timely submission of proposals either by electronic transmission, upload to Client's website, or courier of bid documents
Administration support as requested
Required
Minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial or proposal role, preferably within an Oil & Gas service environment
Multi-company experience preferred across multi-site/multi-national organizations
Research skills backed up by effective and practical written procedures
Commitment to continuous improvement
Experience and knowledge of implementation of behavioral safety programs, occupational health, and mental health strategies
Excellent written and oral communication, analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and within teams
Problem-solving abilityAbility to record information accurately
Must hold a valid passport free from status or restrictive conditions that preclude travel to and work in countries where the Company routinely operates
