Customer Service Representative (Outbound / Inbound Calls)

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM
5:00 PM Assignment Type: Onsite (Temporary) About the Role This position focuses heavily on outbound customer communication, providing updates on orders, backordered items, and shipment timelines. You will follow provided scripts, locate basic order information, and assist customers by phone and through a queue of service inquiries. Training will be provided for all processes, including order handling and internal systems. What You'll Do Make a high volume of outbound calls to customers regarding backorders, order status, and product availability. Handle some inbound calls, with outbound calls being the primary responsibility. Use provided scripts to deliver consistent and accurate updates. Research and gather basic customer or order information as needed. Manage an "acknowledgements" queue of customer inquiries, ensuring timely follow-up. Assist with order processing tasks (all trainable). Complete approximately 75100 calls per day, depending on workflow. Support both parts of the CSR role after cross-training. Adapt to weekly workflow patterns (busier early week, lighter later in the week). What You'll Need to Succeed Required Strong computer literacy and comfort navigating systems. Previous general office experience. Ability to learn processes quickly and follow structured workflows. Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Preferred (Not Required) Prior customer service or call center experience. Experience handling inbound/outbound calls in a professional setting.
