
CNC Designer and Programmer
Surestaff is immediately hiring for an experienced CNC Designer and Programmer for a large manufacturing client located in Dallas, TX. This position will manufacture parts per blueprint, or process instruction, ensuring all specifications are met. Surestaff is invested in their team members! All temp-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $35.00 DOE well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Responsibilities of the CNC Designer and Programmer:
Prepare production drawings and digital files that define critical dimensions and cutting/construction sequences Create detailed designs and process specifications using appropriate standards and techniques Collaborate with engineers, designers, customers, and CNC operators to ensure smooth and accurate production workflows Produce high-quality 2D drawings and 3D models to support design and manufacturing processes Utilize Mastercam (or similar CAD/CAM software) for solid and surface modelling with precision Convert technical specifications into production-ready files and tool paths for CNC machines Provide job estimates and technical input to support project planning and cost analysis Assist in troubleshooting machining issues and refining tool paths for optimal performance Maintain organized records of design files, revisions, and production documentation Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in design and programming efficiency Modify parts when there is an engineering change. Write and update work instructions As required train CNC operators on new projects Receive feedback from CNC Operators in order to improve work methods Preferred Qualifications of the CNC Designer and Programmer:
Computer literacy (Office Suite) Strong knowledge of SolidWorks, Mastercam and AutoCAD, Rhino CAD software's 2 years of relevant experience as a CNC Programmer Product Developer and Designer Strong ability for teamwork is essential.
