DESCRIPTION

International and M&A Tax Specialist with responsibilities including:

Serving as a key contributor and adviser for the Tax Department on M&A related matters such as due diligence, risk assessment, and integration activities for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and investments.
Advising on corporate income and indirect tax implications of new business operations or opportunities in assigned regions.
Supporting the company's financial reporting requirements for income taxes (ASC 740).
Supporting the company's US international compliance tax filings and developing new process efficiencies.
Researching new international and domestic tax laws and advising on their implications for the company.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 8+ years, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree
3+ years in corporate income tax
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, linking sheets)

Preferred Qualifications:

Public accounting experience
Understanding of US international tax rules
Project management skills
Experience working with senior management

This role offers hands-on exposure across federal, state, and local tax compliance, as well as tax provision work under ASC 740, in a collaborative corporate environment outside of financial services.\nThe Role

Preparation of federal, state, and franchise tax returns for multiple jurisdictions\nQuarterly and year-end federal and state tax provisions (ASC 740), payment vouchers, and related journal entries\nMaintaining general ledger tax accounts and recording estimated payments\nAssisting with consolidated and combined state tax filings\nPreparing non-income tax filings (withholding, commercial rent, sales & use, property, etc.)\nSupporting federal, state, and local tax audits\nResearching tax compliance issues and helping resolve problem areas\nWhat Were Looking For

25 years of relevant experience (public accounting or corporate tax)\nStrong background in corporate tax compliance (Form 1120)\nIndustry exposure outside of financial services highly valued (manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, consumer, etc.)\nBachelors degree in Accounting required; CPA required or in progress\nExcellent analytical, research, and communication skills\nWhy Join?
