Position Summary

The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and performance of a North American dealer sales organization within the agricultural equipment industry. This leadership role drives revenue growth, market share expansion, and dealer success while serving as a key member of the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop regional sales and sales support teams across North America
  • Drive annual sales planning, forecasting, pricing, and market growth strategies
  • Strengthen and expand independent dealer relationships and performance
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, finance, operations, and engineering
  • Oversee product launches, dealer development programs, and customer engagement initiatives
  • Monitor market trends, sales data, and customer feedback to inform strategy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of senior sales leadership experience within dealer-based, agricultural, or capital equipment markets
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and execute growth strategies
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities

Travel

  • Approximately 25–30% travel across North America, with occasional international travel
