Position Summary
The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and performance of a North American dealer sales organization within the agricultural equipment industry. This leadership role drives revenue growth, market share expansion, and dealer success while serving as a key member of the senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop regional sales and sales support teams across North America
- Drive annual sales planning, forecasting, pricing, and market growth strategies
- Strengthen and expand independent dealer relationships and performance
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, finance, operations, and engineering
- Oversee product launches, dealer development programs, and customer engagement initiatives
- Monitor market trends, sales data, and customer feedback to inform strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- 8+ years of senior sales leadership experience within dealer-based, agricultural, or capital equipment markets
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and execute growth strategies
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities
Travel
- Approximately 25–30% travel across North America, with occasional international travel
