Hours: Full Time/Part Time
Quaintance Weaver Craft Guild is looking for friendly and energetic
Craftspeople
to join their team. To deliver the type of outstanding experience we provide our guests, we need remarkable individuals who are committed to making a difference.
Greensboro-based Quaintance-Weaver’s in-house craft guild designs and produces the unique furnishings and specialty items that help set the luxury hotels and upscale restaurants apart. The overall mission of the craft guild is to supply superior products at less cost. We build custom furnishings for the QW establishments; from chairs, tables, cabinets and mirrors to large-scale paintings and maintenance projects. Responsibilities of a Craftsperson
Communicate clearly and perform consistently following the mission and values of the organization in our enthusiastic work environment.
Read and interpret equipment manuals.
Follow all systems for safety, sanitation, and emergency procedures.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report any unusual situations.
Passionately maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety at all times.
Skills and Experience Desired
Schedule availability to include morning shift Monday to Friday, weekends and nights depending on the projects.
Interest working with mechanical systems.
Friendly, energetic and detail-oriented.
Great interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong sense of urgency and initiative.
Ability to retain and recall detailed information.
Wood working skill at any level.
Welding and mechanical skill at any level.
Upholstery skills at any level.
