The Opportunity Sema4.ai is seeking a Senior Finance Product Marketing Manager to serve as the primary product marketing partner for our finance solutions, working closely with Product, Sales, and Go-To-Market leadership. This is a highly visible, hands‑on role that will own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market for our finance portfolio while building scalable product marketing programs suitable for a high‑growth AI company.

What You’ll Do Finance Product Marketing Ownership
Own end-to-end positioning and messaging for Sema4.ai’s finance-focused AI solutions, including offerings for CFOs, controllers, FP&A, and broader finance teams.
Define clear value propositions, use cases, and solution narratives that map finance workflows (e.g., close, AP/AR, FP&A, controllership) to measurable business outcomes.
Partner closely with Product Management and Sales to ensure tight alignment between product capabilities, market needs, and GTM motions.
Go-To-Market Strategy & Launches
Lead go-to-market strategy for new finance products and features, including audience definition, messaging frameworks, launch plans, and success metrics.
Build and manage launch playbooks that align stakeholders across marketing, sales, product, and customer success.
Support pricing and packaging discussions for finance solutions by bringing market, customer, and competitive insights into decision‑making.
Sales Enablement & Content
Create executive‑ready sales enablement assets such as pitch decks, one‑pages, solution briefs, FAQs, and competitive battlecards tailored to finance buyers.
Develop talk tracks and objection‑handling guides that help sales teams confidently engage CFOs and senior finance leaders on AI and automation.
Partner with Revenue and Enablement teams to deliver trainings, refine messaging based on field feedback, and continuously improve deal execution quality.
Market, Customer & Competitive Insights
Drive ongoing research into finance buyer needs, pain points, and decision criteria (CFO, controller, VP Finance, FP&A leadership).
Analyze market and competitive landscapes across finance automation, AI, and office‑of‑the‑CFO platforms to identify opportunities and differentiation.
Translate insights into product and GTM recommendations, including segment prioritization and messaging evolution.
Measurement & Process Build‑Out
Define and track key KPIs for product marketing initiatives (e.g., content usage, win rates, pipeline influence, launch impact).
Build repeatable product marketing processes, frameworks, and templates for launches, messaging, and enablement as an early member of the PMM team.
Operate as a self‑starter and builder, comfortable owning strategy as well as execution in a fast‑moving environment.
What You Bring Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing, with significant time focused on finance, office‑of‑the‑CFO, ERP, FP&A, accounting, or finance automation products.
Proven track record developing positioning, messaging, and GTM strategies for products selling to CFOs and senior finance leaders, with clear evidence of pipeline and revenue impact.
Deep understanding of finance workflows, metrics, and decision‑making, and the ability to translate technical capabilities and AI concepts into clear, outcome‑oriented narratives.
Demonstrated ability to build programs and processes from scratch rather than only operating within established structures.
Strong experience partnering with Sales, RevOps, and Product leadership; comfortable influencing executives and leading cross‑functional initiatives.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience crafting executive narratives and high‑impact content for enterprise buyers.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI, automation, or data products, particularly those aimed at finance teams or enterprise workflows.
Background working in high‑growth SaaS environments where speed, experimentation, and adaptability are critical.
Prior experience helping build or mentor a product marketing function or team.
