The Senior Small Business Relationship Banker meets with customers and prospects in person and by phone to determine financial needs and proactively offer appropriate products, services, and guidance to help achieve financial goals. This role serves all customers but focuses on small business customers with revenues up to $5MM—acquiring new customers and deepening existing relationships through checking acquisition, check card, money movement, credit card, merchant services, and lending. The successful candidate should be individually driven, competitive, and able to work as part of a team with strong communication skills to identify customer needs. Primary Responsibilities

Achieves individual and branch targets by proactively identifying customer needs and providing advanced guidance on Regions’ solutions, with a focus on small business customers Conducts outbound phone calls using generated lead lists of small business and consumer customers to expand relationships and acquire new ones Works with the Branch Manager to serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of small business customers with revenues up to $5MM Educates and advises customers on Regions’ Consumer and Business products and services, including loan and deposit types Educates customers on digital solutions such as mobile and online banking and ATM offerings Provides a consistent optimal customer experience and may share responsibility for day-to-day branch tasks to ensure customers bank when, where, and how they choose Owns and resolves customer issues Refers customers to an internal team of experts when additional financial goals and needs are identified Supports team development by serving as a subject matter expert for junior bankers Follows bank processes and procedures and adheres to applicable laws and regulations; manages and reports operational risks as part of the branch team This position requires tracking time for hours worked in excess of 40 per week and is eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act. It is incentive eligible. This position requires registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS). High School Diploma or GED Two (2) years of banking, sales, and/or customer service experience Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels Ability to use a computer frequently, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor Ability to work Saturdays as needed Ability to walk and stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds Preferences

Bachelor’s degree Skills and Competencies
