SUMMARY Avery Residential is seeking an experienced Leasing Specialist to lead leasing operations for the lease up of a new luxury development in Brooklyn. This role involves conducting property showings, negotiating lease agreements, overseeing lease administration, performing market research, daly reporting, and assisting with resident retention. Responsibilities

Lead property tours for prospective residents, effectively highlighting the unique aspects and features of the development. Negotiate lease terms and agreements to secure qualified tenants while maximizing rent rates and reducing vacancy periods. Oversee lease administration processes, ensuring compliance with legal standards and internal policies. Conduct in-depth market research to monitor trends, competitors, and demographic shifts, informing leasing strategies and positioning. Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly reports as needed torack leasing performance, market analysis, and financial metrics. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute leasing campaigns that attract high-quality tenants. Assist in the coordination and planning of resident engagement events to foster a vibrant and inclusive community environment. Maintain high levels of customer service, fostering positive relationships with residents to ensure tenant retention. Coordinate with the management team and site staff on move ins, etc Qualifications / Requirements

Real Estate Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate leasing, preferably in NYC. Lease-up Expertise : Proven success in new development lease-up projects. Market Knowledge : Comprehensive understanding of the NYC rental market, including competitive properties, neighborhood trends, and demographic insights. Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Customer Service Excellence : Commitment to providing white-glove service, with a focus on building trustworthy, long-term tenant relationships. Data-Driven Decision Making : Strong analytical skills to evaluate market data and leasing performance, using metrics to guide strategy and adjustments. Technical Proficiency : Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive, and leasing/property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, On-Site, Rello). Organizational Skills : Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proactive Thinking : Must be proactive, collaborative, and work well with cross-functional teams. Essential Functions / Working Conditions & Physical Demands

Availability for office and field hours (this role is not eligible for remote work). Agents will be required to work 5 days a week/ 8 hours a day. Ability to meet physical demands, including walking, standing, and climbing stairs during property tours.
