What We’re Looking For We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused

Service Porter

to join our team at our high-volume automotive dealership. As a key member of the service department, the Service Porter is responsible for supporting the daily operations by ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of vehicles and maintaining a clean, organized environment. This role includes greeting customers, moving vehicles to and from service areas, assisting technicians as needed, and helping to ensure a positive customer experience from drop-off to pick-up. Ideal candidates are dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Scheduled Hours

Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm

Every other Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm (When working a Saturday, you will be given a day off during that week)

Full-time, 40 hours/week

Ideal Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent

People focused with a positive attitude

Committed to providing world-class customer service

Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, fun environment

Strong organizational and time management skills

Strong work ethic

Proficient technology and computer skills

Valid Driver's License and a good driving record

Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Job Responsibilities

Opens vehicle hoods to allow access to engine compartment.

Completes battery tests on vehicles.

Delivers battery test results to proper location for access by Service Advisor.

Places service tag on rear view mirror of vehicles.

Moves and parks vehicles as need to keep customer reception area open for new arrivals.

Delivers vehicles to technician bays as needed

Washes and vacuums vehicles as needed

Checks air pressure and fills tires as needed

Squeegees and sweeps customer reception area as needed to keep area dry and litter free.

Informs Service Advisor of customers that have arrived but have not been greeted yet.

Provide basic information to customers as needed.

Additional miscellaneous duties as needed.
