TurboVets is seeking an experienced
Part Time Podcast Producer
to help build, produce, and scale a high quality veteran focused podcast from launch through growth. This role blends creative direction, technical execution, and strategic coordination. The podcast will initially release bi monthly and is expected to grow into a weekly show over time. Title:

In person recording required for studio sessions What you will do: What you will do
Podcast production and direction Produce and direct podcast recordings (audio and/or video) Manage recording logistics for in person and remote sessions Ensure professional, consistent audio and video quality Guide hosts and guests through recording sessions Guest identification and booking
Partner with the podcast host, leadership, and marketing to identify compelling guests in veterans, leadership, policy, innovation, and service Coordinate outreach, scheduling, preparation, and follow up Manage guest calendars and release timelines Post production and editing
Edit full length podcast episodes (audio and/or video) Ensure pacing, clarity, and broadcast quality sound Collaborate on show flow, intros, outros, and episode structure Short form and social content
Create short form content (clips, reels, shorts) from episodes Optimize content for platforms such as: Instagram LinkedIn YouTube TikTok (if applicable) Collaborate with marketing on content strategy to drive awareness and engagement Publishing, distribution, and growth
Upload and manage episodes across podcast platforms (Apple, Spotify, etc.) Coordinate posting schedules, titles, descriptions, and metadata Support basic analytics tracking and performance insights Help develop and coordinate a sponsorship plan as the podcast grows What you bring
Proven experience producing podcasts, preferably interview based Strong audio and video editing skills Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms and social media platforms Experience coordinating guests and managing production timelines Understanding of short form content trends and platform best practices Familiarity with veteran, military, or national security communities is strongly preferred Professional, organized, and mission aligned Based in the Washington, DC metro area and able to support in person recordings in Arlington, VA Compensation
